Milford CCC Camp

Posted by mhsalumni on August 2, 2015

As  we are always on the hunt for new pictures we typed in Milford, Utah in google search and came up with a Wikipedia page for Milford. They had a couple of old photos that we have not seen. We did not know there was a CCC camp in Milford in 1936 as the photo indicates. Do any of you historians out there have any information of where this was located? The photo is credited to Edmund R. Gollady titled Civilian Conservation Corp Camp Milford, Utah 1936.

My father was an enrollee at the camp from October 12, 1937 to February 28, 1938. When he passed away I did a lot of research on his service and have a wealth of information I would love to share. Contact me if you are interested.

    Hey Fred,

I would be very interested in hearing about your father’s service in the CCC. The Cedar City Field Office, Bureau of Land Management is hoping to create interpretive material on the CCC company at Milford. Please contact me at crstein@blm.gov.
